What is a houseplant decorative pot?

A houseplant decorative pot is the outer pot that the plant and nursery grow pot sit inside. It's the nice looking pot that you see from the outside. It will hold any excess water that drains from the grow pot so plays an important role in both looking pretty and preventing water marks on your shelves!

Do I need one? Can't I just keep a grow pot in a saucer instead?...

The decorative pot is your chance to transform your houseplant into something fabulous. Pair a single decorative pot with a vibrant plant, and it will stand out much more. Play with colours against the natural greens or the various shades of flowering that houseplants can produce.

Quality

We currently only stock Elho pots. This is because we love the quality of them. They're lightweight yet durable, as well as being UV resistant, meaning they retain their colour over time. They're also easy to clean, have a raised base inside (for better aeration), and are of course completely waterproof.

Further to this, they made from 100% recycled plastic, are 100% recyclable, and made in a factory which uses 100% renewable energy. What's not to like?

Sizes and colours

The colour options are what really sets the Elho pots apart. They come in a range of soft tones, allowing you to create and personalise your own gorgeous plant oasis. We currently offer them in "delicate pink", "anthracite", and "linen white" - our three favourite colours from the Elho range.
